The mission of PBPCA Middle School is to inspire students to reach their academic potential, strengthen their resiliency, and resolve to succeed, and develop the strong work ethic and strength of character that will enable them to be promoted from Middle School to High School with the knowledge, skills, preparation, and confidence required to succeed. Ultimately, we aim to build self-sufficiency in our students, and a life of accomplishment.

Dr. Dwayne Stewart Biography
Dwayne Stewart, Principal of PBPCA Middle School, is a lifelong learner, and is passionate about social activism, mentoring, and helping young people.
Dr. Stewart is the founder of Change Makers Academy, a non-profit organization committed to changing the societal perception of inner-city males and dismantling the school to prison pipeline. He has led student missions to Port Au Prince Haiti, and launched the I Am Africa Experience across Johannesburg, South Africa and Ghana, West Africa immersing students in the customs and culture of the world’s second largest and second most-populous continent.
Dr. Stewart began serving in the Osceola County School system convinced, that with the right support, every child can learn. The understanding that all students learn differently led him to acquire a 40-ft. school bus for a student-led conversion into a mobile classroom. The students spent their last semester building out the “skoolie” from ideation to renovation, and it now serves the community in census work, community read-alongs and food give-aways.
